Getting There

Bus
Start at the Dunedin City Centre (The Octagon). Catch the bus from the Octagon to Portobello. The bus stop is located on George Street near the Octagon. Look for the bus heading towards Portobello, which typically runs every 30 minutes. Stay on the bus until you reach the Broad Bay stop. From there, it's a short walk to Fletcher House. Head north on Portobello Road for about 10 minutes, and you will find Fletcher House at 727 Portobello Road on your right.

If you are close to the waterfront, start at the Dunedin Railway Station. From the station, head southeast on Anzac Avenue toward Moray Place. Continue walking until you reach the Octagon. From there, walk to the bus stop and take the bus to Portobello as described above, or if you're feeling adventurous, you can walk to Fletcher House directly. The walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, following Portobello Road along the coast. Enjoy the scenic views along the way!

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Dunedin. Start from the city center and head towards the Otago Peninsula via Portsmouth Drive. Follow the signs to Portobello Road. The ride is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Once you reach Portobello Road, continue on until you see Fletcher House at 727 Portobello Road on your left.
