Walking
From the Gisborne city center, head east on Gladstone Road towards Childers Road. Continue along Gladstone Road until you reach the roundabout, taking the second exit onto the highway (State Highway 35). Follow the highway for approximately 4 kilometers. As you approach Okitu, look for signs directing you to Moana Road. Turn left onto Moana Road and follow it for about 1 kilometer. Lysnar Reserve will be on your right at 25 Moana Road.

Public Transport (Bus)
Catch the local bus from Gisborne city center that heads towards Okitu. Bus services are available at the main bus stop on Gladstone Road. Make sure to check the bus schedule as they may not run frequently. Once on the bus, stay on until the stop closest to Moana Road. After getting off, walk along Moana Road for about 15 minutes, and you will find Lysnar Reserve on your left at 25 Moana Road.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Gisborne city. Start your journey by heading east on Gladstone Road towards Childers Road. Continue along Gladstone Road until you reach the roundabout and take the second exit onto State Highway 35. Cycle along the highway for approximately 4 kilometers. Look for the turnoff to Moana Road and take a left. Continue down Moana Road for about 1 kilometer; Lysnar Reserve will be on your right at 25 Moana Road.
