If you are starting from the Hamilton city center, head towards Victoria Street. Walk north along Victoria Street until you reach the intersection with Toaroha Street. Turn left onto Toaroha Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will find yourself at the Hamilton Lake. Follow the pathway along the lake's edge, which will lead you directly to Hamilton Lake Walkway located at 64A Lake Crescent.

From the Hamilton city center, walk to the nearest bus stop and take Bus Route 22 towards Hillcrest/University. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Lake Crescent stop. Once you’re off the bus, walk a short distance along Lake Crescent and you will see the entrance to Hamilton Lake Walkway at 64A Lake Crescent.
