If you're driving from Blenheim, head southwest on State Highway 1 (SH1) for about 30 km. Follow the signs for Picton. Once you reach Picton, continue onto Waikawa Road. After approximately 6 km, turn right onto Unnamed Road. Follow this road for about 3 km until you reach the Perano whaling station, which will be on your left.
