Walking
From the Paihia Wharf, head south on Marsden Road towards Bayview Road. Continue walking for about 15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Pahia Beach Road. Turn left onto Pahia Beach Road and keep walking for another 5 minutes until you reach the junction with the Kerikeri Road. Cross over to the other side of the road where you will find the bus stop for the Kerikeri bus.

Take the bus service from Paihia to Kerikeri. The buses typically run every hour. When you get on the bus, tell the driver you are heading to Rainbow Falls. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Kerikeri School stop and walk towards the Rainbow Falls which is well signposted.

Bicycle Rental
If you enjoy cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Paihia. After renting the bike, head towards the main road (Marsden Road) and follow it south until you reach the Kerikeri Road. Continue on the Kerikeri Road for about 7.5 kilometers, following the signs to Rainbow Falls. The ride offers scenic views of the countryside, and you can lock your bike at the falls.
