Getting There

  • Walking

    From Paihia, start at the Paihia Wharf. Head east towards the main road (Marsden Road). Turn left onto Marsden Road and walk north towards the intersection with the State Highway 11. Continue walking until you reach the bus stop on your left, near the Countdown supermarket. Take the bus service heading towards Kerikeri. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop at Landing Road, Kerikeri. From the bus stop, walk south along Landing Road for about 300 meters, and you will find Te Ahurea on your right at 1 Landing Road.

  • Biking

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Paihia. Start at the Paihia Wharf and head towards Marsden Road. Turn left onto Marsden Road and continue north. Follow the road signs towards Kerikeri. The cycling distance is about 23 kilometers and may take around 1.5 hours. When you reach Kerikeri, keep an eye out for Landing Road. Once you are on Landing Road, continue biking for about 2 kilometers until you reach Te Ahurea at 1 Landing Road, Kerikeri.

    From Paihia, make your way to the nearest bus stop on Marsden Road. Board a bus that is heading towards Kerikeri. The buses are generally scheduled every hour. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the bus stop on Landing Road in Kerikeri. Walk south on Landing Road for about 300 meters, and you will arrive at Te Ahurea located at 1 Landing Road.
