Getting There

  • Walking

    From Paihia, start at the Paihia Wharf. Head south along the waterfront on the Paihia Beach Road. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Marsden Road. Turn left onto Marsden Road and follow it until it turns into Puketona Road. Stay on Puketona Road as it leads you out of Paihia. After approximately 3 km, take the right turn onto State Highway 10. After about 8 km, you will reach Kerikeri. Once in Kerikeri, look for Mission Road, where The Parrot Place is located. The attraction is at 1 Mission Road, just a short walk from the main road.

  • Public Transport

    From Paihia, walk to the Paihia bus stop located on Marsden Road. Catch a bus heading towards Kerikeri; there are several options during the day. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Kerikeri bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards Mission Road. Turn left onto Mission Road and walk for about 5 minutes. The Parrot Place is located at 1 Mission Road. You will see the entrance on your left.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Paihia. Start your journey by heading south along the waterfront on Paihia Beach Road. Continue until you reach Marsden Road, where you will turn left. Follow Marsden Road, which will become Puketona Road after about 2 km. The Parrot Place is located at 1 Mission Road, and you will find it on your left after a short ride.
