Start at the Queenstown Bus Station located on Camp Street. Take the Route 1 bus towards Kingston. The bus will take you along the scenic Lake Wakatipu. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Kingston stop. Make sure to inform the driver of your destination, as they can help guide you.

Walking
Once you arrive at the Kingston stop, disembark and head towards the lake. From there, walk along Kingston Road (State Highway 6) heading south. Continue walking for about 2.5 kilometers. You will pass a small town area with views of the lake and mountains. Follow the road until you reach the Devil's Staircase Lookout Point, which will be on your left side at 2911 Kingston Road.
