Start at the Tauranga city center, near the Tauranga i-SITE Visitor Centre located at 238 Maunganui Rd. Head south on Maunganui Rd towards the intersection with Wharf St. Turn left onto Wharf St and follow it until you reach the waterfront. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade, enjoying the views of the harbor. After approximately 20 minutes, you will reach the entrance to Tidal Steps, which is located near the edge of the water. Look for signs directing you towards the Tidal Steps area.
