If you are at the Tauranga city center, start at the Tauranga Art Gallery on Willow Street. Head south on Willow Street towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with The Strand. Turn right onto The Strand and follow it until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Elms | Te Papa Tauranga will be on your right at 15 Mission Street.

From the Tauranga city center, walk to the nearest bus stop on Willow Street. Catch the bus number 1 (Tauranga to Mount Maunganui) and ride for 5 stops. Get off the bus at the 'Mission Street' stop. From there, walk about 200 meters back down Mission Street, and you will find The Elms | Te Papa Tauranga at 15 Mission Street on your left.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Tauranga. Start from the Tauranga city center and head towards the waterfront along The Strand. Follow the waterfront path until you reach the intersection with Mission Street. Turn left onto Mission Street and continue cycling for about 500 meters.
