Turn left onto SH73 and continue for about 30 km until you reach the town of Castle Hill. The Cave Stream Scenic Reserve is located just off SH73, approximately 5 km past Castle Hill. Look for the sign indicating the reserve on your left. There is a parking area where you can leave your car.

Once you reach Christchurch, you will need to catch a bus to Castle Hill, which is serviced by local buses.
