Look for signs directing you to Salto de Estanzuela as you approach. The last stretch may require driving on unpaved roads, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for such terrain. Parking is available near the entrance of the park.

To reach Salto de Estanzuela by public transportation, you can catch a bus from the Estelí bus terminal. Look for buses heading towards Estanzuela. The journey should take about 45 minutes. Inform the bus driver that you are heading to Salto de Estanzuela, and they will drop you off at the nearest point. From there, you may need to walk approximately 15-20 minutes along a dirt path to reach the waterfall. Be prepared for a small entry fee of about 50 cordobas.
