Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Masaya Central Park, head east on Calle 2 towards the Mercado Municipal. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle 3. Turn left onto Calle 3 and continue walking for another 5 minutes. You will start to see signs directing you to Malecon. Keep walking straight until you reach the waterfront area where Malecon is located, which is well marked.

From the Masaya Artisan Market (Mercado de Artesanías), exit the market and turn right onto the main road (Calle 1). Walk straight for about 15 minutes until you see the large sign for Malecon. The path will lead you directly to the park area along the water.
