Walking
If you are staying in the town of Moyogalpa, start by walking towards the main road (Carretera). Head northeast until you reach the intersection with the road heading towards San Ramón. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for Cascada de San Ramón. Follow the path that leads up into the forest. The trail will take you through lush vegetation and may be steep in places, so wear comfortable shoes.
Bicycle
From Altagracia, you can rent a bicycle from local shops. Head towards the main road and cycle west until you reach the junction for San Ramón. This route is approximately 6 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Cascada de San Ramón. Once you arrive at the entrance, secure your bike and follow the trail leading to the waterfall. Ensure you have plenty of water, as the trail can be strenuous.
Hiking
If you are coming from the Finca Magdalena area, take the dirt road leading out of the farm towards the main road. Walk until you reach the Carretera, then turn left heading towards San Ramón. It’s about a 4-kilometer hike. Once you see the sign for the waterfall, follow the marked path into the forest. This route is beautiful but can be challenging, so be prepared with good hiking shoes and water.
