Walking from Moyogalpa
From Moyogalpa, head southeast towards the main road. Follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction. Turn left at the junction and continue straight. You will pass by several small shops and local eateries. Keep walking for another 3 kilometers until you reach the sign for Playa Santo Domingo. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the beach area.
Walking from San José del Sur
If you are in San José del Sur, head north towards the main road. Once on the road, turn right and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. You will come across a fork; take the left path which leads directly to Playa Santo Domingo. Continue walking for about 1 kilometer until you see the beach.
Tricycle taxi from Altagracia
From Altagracia, find a tricycle taxi (also known as a tuk-tuk) and ask the driver to take you to Playa Santo Domingo. It is a popular destination, so drivers will be familiar with it. The ride will take around 15-20 minutes, and you will enjoy scenic views along the way. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the trip.
Public Bus from Moyogalpa
From Moyogalpa, locate the bus station near the ferry terminal. Take a local bus heading towards San José del Sur. After about 20 minutes, ask the driver to drop you off at the Playa Santo Domingo stop. From there, it is a short walk to the beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return times.
