To reach Aza-n-Gara by car from the central area of Azawagh, start by heading south on the main road (Route Nationale 1). Continue driving for approximately 100 kilometers until you reach the town of Agadez. From Agadez, take Route Nationale 25 heading towards the east. After about 50 kilometers, you will see signs indicating the direction to Aza-n-Gara. Follow the signs, and drive for roughly 30 kilometers on a gravel road leading directly to the base of the mountain.
