If you are driving from Dosso, the most straightforward route is to take the N1 highway towards Niamey. After approximately 100 kilometers, take the exit towards the N25 road heading north. Continue on N25 for about 300 kilometers until you reach Agadez. As you approach the city, look for signs directing you to the Grande Mosquée, which is located in the city center. Parking can be found nearby.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To reach the Grande Mosquée d'Agadez via public transportation, start by taking a bus from Dosso to Niamey. Buses typically depart from the main bus station in Dosso. The journey to Niamey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Once in Niamey, transfer to a long-distance bus heading towards Agadez. Ensure to check the schedule as buses may not run frequently. The bus ride from Niamey to Agadez can take approximately 10 to 12 hours. Upon arrival in Agadez, you can walk or take a local taxi to the Grande Mosquée, which is centrally located.
