Getting There

Car
From the center of Gouré, head west on the main road towards Highway N1. Continue to follow N1 for approximately 120 kilometers. After about 60 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Take the right fork towards Bonu. Stay on this road for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for Gurara Waterfalls. Follow the signs which will lead you to Gawu-Kafin-Adunu-Beni Rd. Once you reach the road, drive for about 10 kilometers and you should see the entrance to Gurara Waterfalls on your right. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Gouré, you can take a local bus or shared taxi heading towards Bonu. Buses depart from the main bus station in Gouré. The fare is approximately 500 CFA francs per person. The journey takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Bonu, ask locals for directions to Gurara Waterfalls. You may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (known as 'jakarta') for the remaining distance of about 10 kilometers. The motorcycle taxi fare will be around 1000 CFA francs.

If you have a vehicle, drive to Bonu as described above. Once you arrive at the entrance of Gurara Waterfalls, there may be a small entrance fee (typically around 1000 CFA francs). After parking, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the viewing point of the waterfalls. The path is relatively easy but may have some uneven terrain, so appropriate footwear is recommended.
