Walking
From the center of Plateau, head towards the main road, RN1. You can start from Avenue Moussa Tavele. Walk straight for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with RN1. At the intersection, turn right and continue walking along RN1 for approximately 1 kilometer. You should see Nouvelle Cité EAMAC on your left side. Look for the entrance marked with a sign, which is easily visible from the road.
Public Transport (Bus)
If you prefer using public transport instead of walking, locate a nearby bus stop that services the route along RN1. You can use local buses that have destinations including 'Nouvelle Cité' or 'EAMAC'. Board the bus and pay the fare (typically around 200-300 CFA). Inform the driver that you are going to Nouvelle Cité EAMAC. The bus will drop you off close to the entrance of the facility. Make sure to check the bus schedule as services may vary throughout the day.
Motorcycle Taxi (Jakarta)
Another convenient option is to use a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'Jakarta'). You can find them at various points around Plateau. Negotiate the fare before you start your journey, which typically ranges from 500 to 1000 CFA. Ask the driver to take you to Nouvelle Cité EAMAC, which they will be familiar with. The ride should take about 5-10 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Use Nouvelle Cité EAMAC as your starting point for nearby food, family ideas, nightlife, and more local discoveries.
