Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are at the Abeokuta Central Mosque, head southeast on Oke-Ilewo Road towards the junction. Turn left onto Kuto Road and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the Kuto Market. From the market, continue straight to the junction and take a right onto Ikija Road. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will arrive at the Olumo Rock Tourist Centre on your left.

  • Motorcycle Taxi (Okada)

    If you are at the popular Itoku Market, you can find motorcycle taxis (Okada) near the entrance. Tell the rider you want to go to Olumo Rock Tourist Centre. The ride should take about 10 minutes, and you will be dropped off right at the entrance of the tourist centre.

  • Public Transport (Bus or Minibus)

    From the Sango-Ota Bus Station, look for minibuses heading to Ikija. Board one and inform the conductor that you want to stop at Olumo Rock. The journey will take about 20 minutes. Once you get off, walk a short distance along Ikija Road, and you’ll see the Olumo Rock Tourist Centre ahead.

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop. Start from the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, head southeast on Presidential Boulevard, then take a right onto Kuto Road.
