Walking
From the central area of Abeokuta, head towards the popular Olumo Rock. As you walk, you will likely see locals and tourists alike, so feel free to ask for directions towards Alake's Palace. After about a 15-minute walk, continue along the road until you reach the junction where you can see the large sign for Alake's Palace. The palace is situated on a prominent hill, making it visible from a distance.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the Abeokuta main market. Follow the main road (Kuto Street) leading out of the market area. After about 20 minutes, you will see a sign pointing towards Alake's Palace. Take a left turn at the sign and continue for another 5-10 minutes until you reach the entrance of the palace grounds.

Look for a local bus or 'keke' (tricycle) that is heading towards Isale Igbein. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Alake's Palace. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off, walk up the path that leads directly to the palace, which should take an additional 5 minutes.
