Getting There

  • Car

    From Barup Waterfall, head southeast on the main road towards Ado-Ekiti. Continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers until you reach the junction at Ipole Iloro. Turn left onto Arinta Waterfall Road. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Arinta Waterfalls. Note: Ensure your vehicle is in good condition as some parts of the road may be bumpy.

  • Public Transportation

    From Barup Waterfall, take a local bus or taxi to Ado-Ekiti. Once in Ado-Ekiti, locate the bus terminal and find a bus heading to Ipole Iloro. Inform the driver that you are going to Arinta Waterfall. The bus ride should take about 30-40 minutes. Upon arrival in Ipole Iloro, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (popularly known as 'okada') to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Arinta Waterfalls. The motorcycle ride will cost around 200-300 Naira.

  • Walking

    If you're feeling adventurous and are staying close to Arinta Waterfalls, you can walk from Ipole Iloro. After arriving in Ipole Iloro via public transport, you can ask locals for directions to Arinta Waterfall Road. It is about a 5-kilometer walk, which may take around 1 to 1.5 hours. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the path can be uneven.
