From the center of Gwari, head south on the main road towards Abuja. Continue straight for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction to Bwari. Turn left at the junction and continue on this road for approximately 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Usuma Lower Dam. Follow these signs until you reach the entrance, which is located on your right.

From Gwari, take a bus heading towards Abuja. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Bwari junction. Once you arrive at the junction, find a motorcycle taxi (okada) or a local taxi that can take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Usuma Lower Dam. Make sure to show them the location on your phone or ask locals for help if needed. The dam is well-known, so drivers will be familiar with the destination.
