Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Gwari, head southwest on the Gwari-Kaduna Road (A2). Continue on this road for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction at Bwari. Turn left onto the Bwari-Tiv Road and drive for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Usuma Lower Dam. Follow these signs, and after a short drive, you will see the entrance to the dam area. Note that you may need to pay a small entrance fee, usually around 200-500 NGN, depending on the current regulations.

To reach Usuma Lower Dam using public transport, you can take a bus from Gwari to Bwari. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Gwari. The fare is approximately 500 NGN.
