Getting There

Car
Start your journey from the IITA Forest Reserve entrance. Head southeast on the access road until you reach the main road. Turn left onto the Ibadan-Eruwa Road (A124) and continue for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for the signs directing you to Igbo-Ora. After about 10 minutes, you will see a turn-off for Igbo Ora-Eruwa Road. Turn right and follow this road for about 5 kilometers, and Ideere Hills will be on your left. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel as there are limited fuel stations along this route.

Public Transportation
From the IITA Forest Reserve, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is usually located at the entrance. Take a bus heading towards Ibadan. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Igbo-Ora. The bus fare is typically around 200 NGN. Once you arrive at Igbo-Ora, you can take a local motorbike (Okada) or a taxi to Ideere Hills, which is about 3 kilometers away. The motorbike fare should be around 100-150 NGN, while the taxi may cost about 300-500 NGN depending on negotiation. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Ideere Hills.
