Getting there

Walking

If you are in the central area of Kano, head towards Kawo. Start at the Kano Emir's Palace, and walk towards Kofar Mata area. Continue walking straight until you reach the major road, which is called BUK Road. From BUK Road, turn left and walk towards Kawo. Keep walking until you reach Gidan Dallatu Street. Gidan Dallatu should be on your right side; it's a well-known area in Kawo.

Bicycle

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in central Kano. Start your ride towards Kofar Mata, then proceed to BUK Road. Cycle along BUK Road heading towards Kawo. You will pass several local shops and landmarks. Once you reach Gidan Dallatu Street, take a right turn. Gidan Dallatu will be along this street on your right.

Public Transport (Bus)

To reach Gidan Dallatu using public transport, find a bus heading towards Kawo from any major bus terminal in Kano. Buses are frequent, and you can ask locals for the right bus to Kawo. After getting off at Kawo, ask locals for Gidan Dallatu Street. It’s a popular area, and you should be able to find your way easily on foot from the bus stop.

Motorcycle Taxi (Okada)

For a faster option, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (commonly called Okada) from your location in Kano. Tell the rider to take you to Gidan Dallatu in Kawo. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey. The riders are familiar with the area and will take you directly to Gidan Dallatu Street.
