Walking
From the central market area in Maiduguri, head south towards Baga Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with GRA Road. At this intersection, turn left onto GRA Road and walk for approximately 800 meters. You will pass by several local shops and eateries along the way. When you reach the end of GRA Road, turn right onto Rukuba Road and proceed for another 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for local signage that indicates directions to Galtimari Bridge as you go. Once you reach the junction where Rukuba Road meets R55J+42H, turn left and continue walking for about 500 meters. Galtimari Bridge will be on your right side.

Start from the Maiduguri city center and head south on Baga Road. Maintain a steady pace as you ride for about 1 kilometer until you reach the GRA Road intersection. Turn left onto GRA Road and cycle for around 800 meters. After passing several shops, turn right onto Rukuba Road. Continue cycling for approximately 1 kilometer. Look for local signage guiding you towards Galtimari Bridge. When you arrive at the junction of Rukuba Road and R55J+42H, make a left turn and cycle for another 500 meters. Galtimari Bridge will be visible on your right.

From your hotel or current location in Maiduguri, find a nearby motorcycle taxi (Okada). Tell the driver you want to go to Galtimari Bridge. They will likely know the general area. The driver will take you south on Baga Road for about 1 kilometer, before making a left turn onto GRA Road. They will continue for about 800 meters before turning right onto Rukuba Road. After about 1 kilometer, they will look for any signs indicating Galtimari Bridge. Once they reach the R55J+42H junction, they will take a left and proceed for about 500 meters, dropping you off at Galtimari Bridge on the right side.
