If you are traveling by car, start from Kaduna city. Drive south on the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road (also known as the Kaduna-Kachia Road). After approximately 30 kilometers, you will reach a junction; take the left turn towards Kajuru. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you see signs for Kajuru Castle. The castle is located on a hilltop, so look for the elevated structure.

To reach Kajuru Castle via public transportation, take a bus from Kaduna city to Kajuru. There are several bus terminals in Kaduna where you can board a bus heading to Kajuru. The journey may take around 1.5 to 2 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once you arrive at Kajuru, you may need to hire a motorcycle (popularly known as 'okada') or a taxi to take you to the castle, which is about 5 kilometers from the main bus stop.
