Car
If you are traveling by car from Ogbunike Caves, head south on Ogbunike Road toward Awada Layout. Continue on this road for approximately 15 minutes, or about 10 kilometers. As you approach Onitsha, watch for signs indicating Awada Layout. When you reach the intersection near Awada Layout, take a right onto the road that leads to City Park. Follow the road until you see the park entrance, which is located at the coordinates 6.1267093, 6.7941065.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared taxi (keke) from Ogbunike. Look for buses heading towards Onitsha and confirm with the driver that they will pass through Awada Layout. The fare is usually around 200-300 NGN per person. Once you arrive in Awada Layout, you can either walk to City Park, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, or take a motorcycle taxi for about 100-150 NGN. The motorcycle taxi will take you directly to the entrance of City Park.
