If you are in Onitsha town proper, start at the Onitsha Main Market. Head south on Ochanja Road, and continue straight until you reach the junction at Awka Road. Turn left onto Awka Road and keep walking until you reach the Onitsha-Owerri Road. Continue on this road for about 2 km until you see the sign for Oba. Turn right onto the road leading to Oba and walk for another 1 km until you reach the Igwe Eze Palace. The Eze Okpoko 1 Mausoleum is located within the palace grounds.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Onitsha. Start your journey at the Onitsha Main Market and cycle south on Ochanja Road. After about 1 km, take a left turn onto Awka Road. Continue cycling straight for approximately 2 km until you reach the Onitsha-Owerri Road. Turn right and cycle for another 1 km, then turn right again onto the road leading to Oba. After 1 km, you will arrive at the Igwe Eze Palace, where the Eze Okpoko 1 Mausoleum is located.
