Start at the Burnt Pine Shopping Centre. Exit the shopping centre and turn left onto Taylors Road. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with New Cascade Road. Turn right onto New Cascade Road and continue walking for another 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Mount Pitt Road. Turn left onto Mount Pitt Road and follow it for approximately 1.5 kilometers. The Mount Pitt Lookout will be on your left. Enjoy the panoramic views from the lookout.

If you are at the Norfolk Island Central School, exit the school grounds and turn left onto New Cascade Road. Walk for about 400 meters, then turn right onto Mount Pitt Road. Continue walking for approximately 1.3 kilometers, and you will find Mount Pitt Lookout on your left. This route is slightly uphill but offers beautiful scenery along the way.

From the Norfolk Island Government House, head south along Queen Elizabeth Avenue until you reach the intersection with New Cascade Road. Turn right and walk for about 600 meters. You will then turn left onto Mount Pitt Road. Follow Mount Pitt Road for about 1.5 kilometers, and Mount Pitt Lookout will be on your left. This route provides a great opportunity to take in the local flora and fauna.
