Walking
From the main township of Norfolk Island, start at the Burnt Pine Shopping Centre. Head south on New Cascade Road towards the intersection with the Captain Cook Road. Continue straight onto the Captain Cook Road, enjoying the scenic views. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork; take the right onto the Bumboras Road. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the end where you'll find a sign for Puppys Point. From here, a short pathway leads you directly to the viewpoint where you can enjoy the stunning landscapes.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Burnt Pine. Begin at the Burnt Pine Shopping Centre and head south on New Cascade Road. Cycle straight onto Captain Cook Road and continue for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the fork, take the right onto Bumboras Road. Pedal for another 2 kilometers until you see the sign for Puppys Point. Lock your bike at the designated area and walk along the path leading to the viewpoint.
