Walking
If you are in downtown Asheville, the Asheville Art Museum is located at 2 S Pack Square. From Pack Square, you can easily reach the museum by walking. Look for the large grassy area in the center of Pack Square, and the museum is located on the south side of this square. The entrance is easily identifiable with its signage. If you are near the Asheville City Hall, head south down S Pack Square, and you will see the museum on your left.

Public Transportation
If you are further away from downtown, you can take the Asheville Transit bus. Route 2 (the Riverside route) stops at Asheville City Hall, which is just a short walk from the Asheville Art Museum. Get off at the City Hall stop, walk south towards S Pack Square, and the museum will be on your left at 2 S Pack Square. Check the Asheville Transit website for the latest bus schedule and routes.

For those who prefer biking, Asheville has a network of bike lanes. If you are coming from the River Arts District, take the bike lane on Riverside Drive heading north. Cross the river and follow the signs to downtown. Once you reach downtown, head towards Pack Square, and you will find bike racks available near the Asheville Art Museum entrance.
