Walking
If you are in downtown Asheville, start at Pack Square Park. Head north on Biltmore Avenue. After about 0.3 miles (approximately a 6-minute walk), turn left onto Montford Avenue. Continue walking for about 0.2 miles (approximately 4 minutes), and you will see the Asheville Visitor Center at 36 Montford Ave on your right.

From the Asheville Transit Center located at 50 Aiken St, catch the ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus on Route 1 towards the River Arts District. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the Montford Avenue stop. Walk down Montford Avenue for about 5 minutes, and the Asheville Visitor Center will be on your left at 36 Montford Ave.
