    If you are driving from downtown Asheville, start by heading west on Patton Avenue (US-19). Continue on Patton Avenue for about 2 miles until you reach the intersection with I-240. Merge onto I-240 W and follow it for approximately 3 miles. Take exit 1B to merge onto US-25 N/US-70 W toward Weaverville. After about 3 miles, take the exit for NC-191 S/Airport Road. Continue on NC-191 S for about 2 miles, then turn left onto Frederick Law Olmsted Way. The North Carolina Arboretum will be on your right after about half a mile. Look for the entrance sign.
