From downtown Asheville, walk to the nearest bus stop on Patton Avenue. Look for the ART (Asheville Redefines Transit) bus service. Take the route 6 bus towards 'South Asheville.' Make sure to check the schedule for the latest arrival times. After approximately 25-30 minutes, disembark at the Lake Julian Park stop located on Lake Julian Road. From the bus stop, walk about 0.3 miles down Lake Julian Road, and you will find the entrance to Lake Julian Park on your left.

If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the rental shops in downtown Asheville. Head south on Biltmore Avenue and turn left onto Hendersonville Road (US-25). Continue on Hendersonville Road for about 3 miles until you reach Lake Julian Road. Turn left onto Lake Julian Road, and after about half a mile, you'll arrive at Lake Julian Park.

Please note this walk will take around 1 hour and is best suited for those who enjoy walking long distances.
