Hiking
From Boone, head southeast on Blowing Rock Rd. towards US-221 S. After about 10 miles, you will reach the intersection with NC-181 N. Turn left onto NC-181 N and continue for approximately 6 miles until you reach Linville Falls. There are signs directing you to the Linville Falls Visitor Center where you can find parking and trail maps.
Biking
Starting from Boone, take the Greenway Trail that leads southeast towards Blowing Rock Rd. Follow the trail until you reach Blowing Rock Rd, then turn left. After about 10 miles, you will turn left onto NC-181 N. Keep biking for around 6 miles, and you'll see signs for Linville Falls. There is a designated parking area at the Visitor Center.
