If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards Kure Beach. From most locations in Cape Fear Coast, you can reach Kure Beach by following US-421 S. Once you are on US-421 S, continue to follow the signs for Kure Beach. As you approach Kure Beach, take a left onto Fort Fisher Blvd S. Continue on this road until you reach Loggerhead Rd. Turn right onto Loggerhead Rd, and the North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher will be on your left at 900 Loggerhead Rd, Kure Beach, NC 28449. Parking is available on-site, and it is free of charge.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Wave Transit bus service, which operates in the Cape Fear Coast area. Look for the 'Route 101' bus, which services Kure Beach. You will need to board the bus at one of its designated stops. The closest stop will depend on your current location, but you can find the nearest stop by checking the Wave Transit website or app. Once you board the bus, request a stop at Kure Beach. After you get off, it’s a short walk to the aquarium. Head south on Fort Fisher Blvd, then take a right onto Loggerhead Rd. The aquarium will be on your left at 900 Loggerhead Rd, Kure Beach, NC 28449. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as service may vary.
