Getting There

    If you are driving from Wilmington, head south on US-421 S for approximately 15 miles. Continue onto Carolina Beach Road (NC-421) until you reach Carolina Beach. Once in Carolina Beach, take a right onto Carolina Beach Avenue South. The Carolina Beach Boardwalk will be on your left, just a short distance down the road. Parking is available along the boardwalk, but be aware that paid parking may apply during peak seasons.

    To reach the Carolina Beach Boardwalk using public transportation, start by taking the Wave Transit bus service from Wilmington. Board the bus at any of the designated stops in Wilmington and take the route heading towards Carolina Beach. The bus will take you directly to Carolina Beach.
