From the center of Chapel Hill, walk to the nearest bus stop on Franklin Street. Take the GO Triangle bus route 100 towards Raleigh. The bus will take you on a direct route to Raleigh. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop closest to 1030 Richardson Dr, Raleigh, which is near the Dorothea Dix Park. From the bus stop, walk about 10 minutes to reach the park entrance.

If you're cycling, head towards the Chapel Hill Greenway Trail. Follow the trail towards the south, which will take you through picturesque areas of Chapel Hill. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Turn right and head towards Raleigh. Follow the road signs leading to Dorothea Dix Park. The bike ride will take approximately 40 minutes.

If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Chapel Hill and head south on South Columbia Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Turn left and walk towards Raleigh. The walk is about 3 miles and will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the road signs to Dorothea Dix Park, and you will arrive at the park entrance.
