Turn left onto Canterbury Road and drive for about 0.5 miles. The Piney Ridge Nature Preserve will be on your right at 3800 Canterbury Rd, Wilmington, NC 28403. There is free parking available on-site.

To reach Piney Ridge Nature Preserve via public transportation, start at the Wilmington Transportation Center. From there, take the Wave Transit bus Route 1 (Market Street). Ride the bus for approximately 25-30 minutes and get off at the stop nearest to Canterbury Road. You will then need to walk approximately 0.5 miles down Canterbury Road to reach the preserve. Please check the Wave Transit website for current schedules and any fare costs, which are typically around $1.00 per ride.

For those who prefer biking, you can rent a bike from local rental shops in Wilmington. From downtown Wilmington, head south on the Riverwalk until you reach Market Street (US-17).
