If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Take US-441 South (Newfound Gap Road) toward Gatlinburg. After approximately 30 miles, merge onto the US-23 South towards Dillsboro. Continue for about 45 miles and then take the exit to NC-106 North towards Highlands. Follow NC-106 North for 18 miles until you reach Highlands. Once in Highlands, follow signs to Cullasaja River. The falls are located along the river, and you can park nearby.
