Walking
If you are starting from downtown Greenville, head east on East 5th Street until you reach South Evans Street. Turn left onto South Evans Street and continue walking until you reach East 10th Street. Turn right onto East 10th Street, and then take a left onto South Memorial Drive. Continue on South Memorial Drive until you see signs for the South Tar River Greenway. The entrance to the Greenway is located off of South Memorial Drive near the Tar River.

Starting from the East Carolina University campus, head south on Charles Boulevard. Continue until you reach the intersection with East 10th Street, then turn left. Continue on East 10th Street until you reach South Memorial Drive, then turn right. Follow South Memorial Drive until you see the entrance to the South Tar River Greenway. You can park your bike at the racks available near the entrance.

Public Transit
From the Greenville Area Transit (GREAT) bus station, take the Route 1 bus towards Greenville Mall. Get off at the stop at East 10th Street and South Memorial Drive. From there, walk south on South Memorial Drive until you reach the entrance to the South Tar River Greenway. It’s a short walk from the bus stop.
