    Start your journey at the Hickory Public Library located at 378 2nd Ave NE, Hickory, NC 28601. Exit the library and head west on 2nd Ave NE toward 4th St NE. Turn left onto 4th St NE and walk until you reach the intersection with 12th St NE. Turn right onto 12th St NE. After about 1 mile, you will see Geitner Park on your left at 2035 12th St Dr NW. The walk will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

    If you have access to a bike, start at the Hickory City Park located at 400 2nd St NE. Exit the park and head south on 2nd St NE. Turn right onto 1st Ave NE, then left onto 4th St NE. Follow 4th St NE for about 1 mile until you reach 12th St NW. Turn right onto 12th St NW, and Geitner Park will be on your right at 2035 12th St Dr NW. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.

  • Public Transit

    From the Hickory Metro Transit Station at 200 1st Ave SW, board the Route 1 bus heading towards Lenoir. Get off at the 12th St Dr NW stop. Once you disembark, walk north on 12th St Dr NW. Geitner Park will be on your left at 2035 12th St Dr NW. The entire journey, including waiting time, should take approximately 30-40 minutes.
