Getting There

    From Mooresville, head to the nearest bus stop located at the intersection of Main St and Broad St. Take the CATS bus route 77 towards Statesville. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes and get off at the stop on Highway 21 at the intersection with State Park Rd. From there, it’s approximately a 1-mile walk to Lake Norman State Park. Follow State Park Rd to the east until you reach the park entrance.

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Mooresville. Start at the Mooresville Town Hall and head north on Main St, then turn left onto Brawley School Rd. Continue on Brawley School Rd for about 5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 21. Take a right onto Highway 21 and ride for approximately 1 mile. You will see State Park Rd on your left; turn there and follow it to the park entrance.
