Car
From Pisgah National Forest, head east on US-276 N. Continue on US-276 N for about 10 miles until you reach the junction with US-64. Turn left onto US-64 E and continue for approximately 5 miles. Merge onto I-26 E towards Asheville. Stay on I-26 E for about 20 miles. Take exit 31 for US-25 N toward Asheville. Continue on US-25 N for about 2 miles, then take exit 4A for Patton Ave. Merge onto Patton Ave, and you will find Asheville Museum of Science at 43 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801 on your left. Parking is available nearby but may incur a fee depending on the location.

If you prefer public transportation, first take a local bus from Pisgah National Forest to Asheville. The closest bus station is located in Brevard, NC. Catch the 3B bus operated by the local transit authority (Transylvania County Transit) to Asheville. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Asheville, get off at the stop closest to Patton Ave. From there, it’s a short 5-10 minute walk to Asheville Museum of Science located at 43 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28801.
