To reach the UNC Visitors Center located at 134 E Franklin St, Chapel Hill, NC 27514, first head to the nearest bus stop in Raleigh. You can take the GoTriangle bus route 405 from Raleigh to Chapel Hill. Board the bus and enjoy the ride, which typically takes about 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Chapel Hill, disembark at the 'Franklin St & Columbia St' stop. From there, walk east on Franklin Street for about 0.3 miles, and you will see the UNC Visitors Center on your left.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike using a local bike-share program. Start your journey by heading towards the Capital Area Greenway and follow the trail towards Chapel Hill. The ride is approximately 10 miles and may take around 40-60 minutes depending on your speed. Once you arrive in Chapel Hill, navigate towards Franklin Street and continue east until you reach 134 E Franklin St. The Visitors Center will be on your left.
Walking
If you are already in Chapel Hill, you can walk to the UNC Visitors Center. Start at the intersection of Franklin Street and Columbia Street. Head east on Franklin Street for about 0.3 miles. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafes. The Visitors Center is located at 134 E Franklin St on your left side. It is a short and pleasant walk.
