    Getting There

    Car

    If you're driving in Badlands National Park, head to the Pinnacles Entrance. From there, take SD-240 (Badlands Loop Road) and follow the signs for Keystone. Exit the park via the Pinnacles Entrance and merge onto SD-40. Follow SD-40 for about 15 miles until you reach Rushmore Cave at 13622 SD-40, Keystone, SD 57751. Parking is available on-site. Please note that there may be an entrance fee for Badlands National Park, so have your payment ready.

    Public Transportation

    There is limited public transportation available in the Badlands area. You can take the Badlands Shuttle from the Ben Reifel Visitor Center to the town of Keystone. Once in Keystone, you will need to use a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) or a taxi to reach Rushmore Cave, as it is about 3 miles from the Keystone town center.
