Car
If you are driving from Badlands National Park, take SD-240 W from the park entrance. Continue on SD-240 W until it merges onto I-90 W. Take exit 57 toward Keystone and merge onto SD-40 S. Follow SD-40 S for about 8 miles. Rushmore Cave will be on your left at 13622 SD-40, Keystone, SD 57751. Look for signs indicating the cave entrance.
Public Transportation
Currently, public transportation options may be limited in the Badlands area. You can check for local shuttle services that operate between Rapid City and Keystone. If available, take the shuttle to Keystone and then use a taxi or rideshare service to get to Rushmore Cave, which is approximately 3 miles from downtown Keystone.
