If you are already in Sheyenne National Grassland, head towards Sheldon, ND. From the center of Sheyenne National Grassland, take Highway 281 North. Continue for approximately 10 miles until you reach the intersection with County Road 7. Turn left onto County Road 7 and drive for about 5 miles. You will see signs for Witsel Waterfowl Production Area. The entrance will be on your left. There is no cost for entering the area.
